- Providing training opportunities for citizens of Northumberland County who are developmentally challenged - see our gallery of volunteers.
- Promoting the reduction, reuse and recycling of waste in order to protect and preserve the environment.
- Providing an affordable shopping outlet for the community. Donating items to people in need when a referral is received from a community agency.
- Donating items in response to emergencies such as fires.
- To conduct research and educational programs in order to encourage the reduction of waste and the promotion of recycling and reusing.
